WordPress maintenance

WordPress maintenance and care plans for small businesses.

A WordPress care plan keeps your existing site hosted, updated, backed up and checked for £25/month, rolling monthly. I also sort out problems with broken pages, updates or enquiry forms. I’ll inspect your site, explain the work and agree any repair costs before starting. You can still get help if the original developer has gone. I’m based in North Wales and look after sites for businesses across the UK, remotely.

Ongoing WordPress care

Updates, backups and ongoing WordPress care.

If nobody is handling the updates, backups or small changes, I can check whether your existing site is suitable for the Website Rescue care plan. You have one person to contact about your hosting and website.

Care is £25/month, with £99 setup for a suitability check and standard migration. Repairs and premium licences are quoted separately. The plan rolls monthly with 30 days’ notice. No VAT is currently charged. Vivaxo is not VAT registered.

Care plan or repair?

Ongoing care versus a one-off repair.

A care plan stops small problems building up. A repair deals with something that has already gone wrong. You can have a repair on its own, and a site that is repaired can move onto the care plan if it is suitable.

Help with a broken website

Help with broken pages, forms and updates.

A broken contact form, a layout that changed after an update or an error stopping visitors from using the site needs a careful check. Tell me what happened and send the website address. I’ll investigate the setup and explain what can be repaired.

Repairs and malware removal are scoped and quoted separately before work starts. Backups come before changes. Once the fault is addressed, we can discuss ongoing care if the site is suitable.

Tell me what needs fixing →
  • WordPress, themes or plugins are badly out of date
  • The layout or enquiry form is broken
  • The previous developer is no longer available
  • Nobody is sure where the domain or hosting lives
  • Pages are slow or difficult to use on mobile
  • Visitors see malware or browser security warnings
  • Small content changes are unusually difficult

How a rescue works

What I’ll do.

Assess

I check the visible site and ask for the access needed to understand the hosting, domain and WordPress setup.

Stabilise

Backups come first. Once I’ve inspected the site, I prioritise urgent faults and security issues.

Move and tidy

Where appropriate, the site is migrated to managed hosting, updated carefully and checked on desktop and mobile.

Look after it

Backups, updates, uptime monitoring, form checks and a monthly allowance for small changes continue after the rescue.

From £99 setup + £25/month

Care continues after the fix.

The Website Rescue plan includes managed hosting, updates, daily backups, monitoring, monthly form checks and up to 20 minutes of small content changes monthly. Setup covers a suitability check and standard migration. Repairs, malware removal and premium licences are quoted separately before work starts.

WordPress care

What happens to your existing site?

What does WordPress maintenance include?

The care plan covers managed hosting, software and security updates, daily backups, uptime monitoring, monthly contact-form checks and up to 20 minutes of small content changes each month. Setup includes a suitability check and standard migration. Repairs, malware removal and premium licences are quoted separately.

How much does WordPress maintenance cost?

The care plan is £25/month after a £99 setup fee, so £399 for the first year. There is no minimum term: it rolls monthly and you can leave with 30 days’ notice. Repairs, malware removal and premium licences are quoted before work starts. No VAT is currently charged. Vivaxo is not VAT registered.

Do you only look after websites in North Wales?

No. I’m based in North Wales and work remotely with businesses across the UK. Hosting, updates and changes are all handled online.

Can you help if my previous WordPress developer has gone?

Yes. Send the website address and tell me which domain, hosting and WordPress accounts you can access. It is fine if you do not have every login yet. I check the setup and explain what access is needed before proposing changes. Please do not send passwords through the enquiry form.

Can I keep my website and domain?

The first step is to check whether your existing WordPress site is suitable for ongoing care. A rebuild is discussed only when it is needed. Your domain stays yours; I check the current access and hosting before recommending a move.

Does the monthly price include fixing a broken site?

The £99 setup covers a suitability check and standard migration. The £25/month plan covers ongoing care for a suitable site. Repairs, malware removal and premium licences are quoted separately before work starts.

Do I need to move hosting?

The care plan includes managed website hosting. I assess the current setup and explain the migration before anything is moved. If access or a third-party service makes the move difficult, we agree the scope first.

What if I need a new website instead?

I can explain the new website plans and help you compare them with maintaining the existing site. You can see examples of my work for North Wales businesses before deciding.
